Sister bonding
I’ve always enjoy my ‘ME’ time with my sister – she’s fun, funny, stingy (sometimes), good figure, mother of two adorable kids and on top of all – she’s my best pal where we share stupid jokes!
(Me and sis, at Book Fair KLCC)
I still remembered the year she got married (about 8/9 years ago), our family had our ‘reunion dinner’ on the eve of Chinese New Year without her – because she have to be at her in-law house for their reunion dinner too. At that time, I felt our ‘dinner’ was incomplete and I got angry at myself because she’s not there. But I know this is the ‘Chinese’ tradition and I can’t change that.
Well, I have to say “I’m really glad” that my hubby is not Chinese – otherwise, our reunion dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year 2010 will be a quiet one for my family.
Sis, if you are reading this! Just want to say that ‘I’m so glad that we are sisters’

Q: How many pairs of shoes does an average woman own?
I’ve been thinking whether to post this in my blog. What are the implication after this posting? Will the debate starts again?
But…. I can’t help it! I love them all and who cares about the debate anyway?
How many do you owned?

Gathering
It was a nice week off and I’m glad that I’m here in KK. On Wednesday, Yummy Mummy and I had some girly time together. We went to Asia City for breakfast at Fook Yuen, later to 1Borneo to confirm my make-up appointment with M.A.C for my big day next year. Yup, I had to do all these arrangement while I’m here – there are not many things to arrange now except the documentations.
Later Yummy Mummy and I did some shopping at TuneStore and had our chinese noodles lunch at the newly opened Seafood Restaurant. Btw, the name of the restaurant is ‘Jaws’ – which I found quite funny. Maybe they are famous for ’shark fin’ – well, that I’m not so sure!
Last night was nice too – we meet up with Zeeb, Julia and Yummy Mummy for some girls night out! We did some ‘cuci mata’ too – well, all our men are not around and they are in KL. (punya lar jauh) So, our gathering was really fun! It’s been a while since I last saw them, so the reunion was good, especially we had our choc cakes, ice creams, mocha and smoothies! They are planning for a costume-party for the New Year celebration, but unfortunately I won’t be able to make it! (sob sob)
Well, I have another two days to go before leaving KK, so better make use of the time here with the sun, beach, sunset and food!
Esther, Happy Birthday!
I’m thinking of you
My sweet little one
When we’re together
We have so much fun
I hope you have
A nice birthday today
Be a good girl and
Have fun when you play
Happy Birthday to my dear Esther
May your day fill with joy and laughter
Don’t forget your ‘Aunt Amy’
Who can’t be with you today!
See your birthday present : a cute pink electric guitar!

Sales, sales, sales and more sales….
What is the most happening event this month… yeah! The Malaysia Mega Sale is here again! Well, although people may say that Singapore Sale’s are better than Malaysia – well, it really depends on what you are buying.
I remembered last year August/September Mega Sales was quite a good month for me – I managed to get Streamyx (broadband) without paying any single cents plus additional free modem insurance for a year. I also managed to get myself a nice bedroom set for only RM2800++. If I were to buy the same furniture during any other month, it would probabaly cost me double the price. And also cheap flight tickets to Kota Kinabalu during the whole month of August. Plus bought my electronic rice cooker, vacuum cleaner, an alarm clock radio plus a mixer (to make cakes) for less than RM600. So, it actually helped me to save a lot of money. Well, all these are not inclusive of the usual ladies shopping for cosmetics, clothings, shoes and etc…
So, I’ve been keeping most of my money for this year mega sale again, this time: I’m eyeing to get the LG 700liter fridge. (The specs are quite good, it has the Ion Door Cooling system, Icebeam Door Cooling system for the feazer, Vitamin plus?? and multiple air flow – quite good huh!!) I am also quite interested in other brand such as Mitsubishi, Hitachi and Toshiba. If I’m not mistaken, these three brands will help to save electricity.
Checked the price of LG two months ago, it was about RM3050 inclusive of delivery cost. Last weekend, I went to check out the prices again, and due to MEGA sale, the price of the same model is display at RM2500 inclusive of delivery charges. Mmmm… as what I’ve expected, a big cut in price! Hahaha… I must start do my homework, and make sure that I get the best bargain before the Mega sale ended…Someone told me that those electrical shops in SS2 will give a better price – perhaps RM2300?? Shall make a trip there this weekend.
I should start making a list of what to buy this month and for September too… maybe there will some discount too for car tyre, it’s time to change the front tyres.
So, my friend…make sure if you are going to commit yourself on something big and expensive, you better do it this month or next. I can be sure that you’ll get the most during the Mega Sale.
