KDrama : Boys Before Flowers
The sun is NOT shining here in Kuala Lumpur and everybody I know said, well… it’s ‘Cheng Beng’ therefore, it rains everywhere. And perhaps it’s not really a bad thing to me…in fact seems to be a good opportunity to cuddle up on the couch and watch KDrama… that makes most of my weekend!
But in reality, I can’t believe we’re in April 2009! Somehow I feel I’m in the new beginning around the corner (perhaps is a little too late to say that in April, should have felt that in January) and I’m feeling a bit lost without my BBF to comfort me. Yeah… people might be asking now, what is BBF? Check it out here. (yup: you’re right, it’s another KDrama. It is really popular in Korea even before the show started!)
I guess that’s what happen when the producer trying to produce drama based on Japanese manga, it gets a lot of attention especially from people like me (I love Manga) . The plots in the drama actually end up with many ’surprises’ which gives the edge to the drama. As you may know, manga is a source of fantasy to many people and seeing it becomes alive as a drama is almost convincing! And it’s hard not to think about it… I was a little surprise with myselft too, following a drama week by week and enjoying it, obviously it was hard because I keep checking website waiting for the English Sub
Well, BBF runs for 3 months since January this year and just wrapped up recently on the 31st March09 – I was happy with the ending and loving the all the characters in the drama. And I think Lee Min-ho is superb playing Gu Jun Pyo. Without this character, I don’t think this drama is going to make it. I will miss that mon-tues slot (oh ya, it’s wed-thurs for Malaysian here), though I am glad to send the drama off to be archive in DVD.
I guess I don’t need to write more about Boys Before Flowers – if you google BBF, you’ll see plenty of fan services in either Youtube, Google Video, YEOH, ClubBox Kr and etc… and plenty of blog postings about BBF too…

Antique

Antique is a movie staring my favourite Korean actor Joo Ji Hoon (from Princess Hours), Kim Jae Wook (from Coffee Prince), Yoo Ah In (from Mighty Chil Woo) and Choi Ji Ho (from Time of Dog and Wolf). This is a movie based on Japanese manga by Fumi Yoshinaga about lives of four men working in a small bakery shop.
This movie was tagged as ‘ONLY’ suitable for those who are 15 years and above due to some gay kissing scenes, nude scenes and erotic dancing in a club by Kim Jae Wook. I’m really looking forward to another movie by Joo Ji Hoon. Check out the trailer here:
Anime: Vampire Knight

I thought I would have a nice weekend, relaxing at home…boy! I was wrong. My friend, ‘JT’ downloaded a new Anime for me. She said, I hope you’ll like them as much as I do. I copied KKM Ep1 -5 for her and she gave me 5 new episode of Vampire Knight. Well, JT you are definitely right! I’m hooked after just watching the first episode!
Vampire Knight is a beautiful and blood-thrilling manga by Hino Matsuri. The artwork, the drawing, colours and the storyline of this mange is absolutely stunning. I would have to say, the anime and the manga artwork are not much difference which is quite impress.
With the stories on mysterious, secrets, loves, betrayal and of course not forgetting bishies among the vampires! This is a must watch or highly recommended from me. (hey, I don’t usually promote anime!)

Anime: Kyou Kara Maoh’s 3rd Season

Here it is….. the third season of my favourite Kyou Kara Maoh is now aired in Japan’s NHK-BS2 satelite channel. Well although I don’t have this channel in my ASTRO, but thanks to the superb communities and fan clubs in Veoh, Youtube and of course our KKM Facebook group, I’m able to watch it, that include 5 episodes of the OVA too… oooohhhhh….I can’t wait!!!!
Anime: Kyo Kara Maoh
I haven’t been able to blog recently – too many ‘things’ to do. Too much until I can’t remember what I’ve done for the past few weeks!! Yup – cards… too many orders for Chinese New Year, and also for Valentine’s. My schedule is almost full every night, either looking for toppers, rubber stamps, papers, making the cards and lots more, plus setting up bazaar at ABC Market is making the weeks seems shorter. But overall, it was a fun thing to do. And the sale of the cards is not too bad either. I even have bulk order for 150 CNY cards which I’ve just delivered yesterday. That’s my last order for this year. Yippeee…. Now I can rest! Especially when there are 78 episode of “Kyo Kara Maoh: God (?) Save Our King” waiting for me to watch. Kyo Kara Maoh, this is one of my favourite apart from “Curious Play or better known as Fushigi Yuugi”.
If you are the anime lover – you’ll know what I meant here -enclosed Kyo Kara Maoh. (Left to Right: Gwendel, Wolfram, Conrad, Yuuri – da King and Gunter), the animax channel said – these are the most handsome characters so far….
