Antique

without comments

Antique is a movie staring my favourite Korean actor Joo Ji Hoon (from Princess Hours), Kim Jae Wook (from Coffee Prince), Yoo Ah In (from Mighty Chil Woo) and Choi Ji Ho (from Time of Dog and Wolf). This is a movie based on Japanese manga by Fumi Yoshinaga about lives of four men working in a small bakery shop.

This movie was tagged as ‘ONLY’ suitable for those who are 15 years and above due to some gay kissing scenes, nude scenes and erotic dancing in a club by Kim Jae Wook. I’m really looking forward to another movie by Joo Ji Hoon. Check out the trailer here:

My Little Bride

without comments

I’ve just finished watching a korean movie titled ” My Little Bride”.

It’s not that I’m a fan of korean movie – but just so happened that my friend loan me the DVD, and I like watching movies… ‘My Little Bride’ is  classified as comedy drama. But after watching it… i think the korean are not living in reality. Seriously! How can the parents allowed a 15yrs old girl to get marry? The whole movie plot is telling the viewer that Korean people are innocent and naive. If a movie like this ever came out in the western countries, i think viewers might think that they are watching ‘Scary Movie 4′ or equivalent.

This is supposed to be a comedy movie, but it’s not funny at all. I think i have wasted two hours watching the stupid movie. I’m a movie person, so… i watch all kind of movies, but there are times I just can’t tolerate this kind of stupidity and I dont understand how can a stupid movie did very well at the Korean box office? That shows how intelligent these people are! :)

The cover of the DVD…
