Look Out Point, Ampang/Hulu Langat
What is more amazing than watching sunset, having a nice meal and a beautiful scenary of Kuala Lumpur! Check out this place in Ampang/Hulu Langat, Look Out Point.

Background of Petronas Twin Tower, p/s: that is not the moon! it's the sun...
The night view is also beautiful… who said we must have sharp images??

The rest of the images are posted to my Flickr Site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/amy_rantz
How to go to Look Out Point, Ampang/Hulu Langat:
a) Take the Jalan Ampang, drive towards Ampang Point Shopping Centre
b) Once you’ve passed Ampang Point, drive straight on until you see Ampang Waterfront on your left. There are a lot of shops, restaurants… continue driving until you reach a traffic light where there’s a sign showing ” Hutan Lipur Ampang” or “Taman Rimba Ampang”. You will not miss this sign post because it’s quite big. When you see this sign post, you must be at the traffic light. (You may also see a moderate sign post of Carrefour)
c) At the traffic light, turn right. You’ll see Carrefour supermarket on your right, continue driving and start counting the traffic lights, you should pass 5 traffic lights and at the 5th traffic lights, turn to your left
d) Once you turn in, you’ll see a sign “Menara Tinjau” – the sign post is located on your left. At this point, you’ll realise that you are actually driving up hill and there are no street lights, therefore please be careful!
e) Continue driving for another 3km, it’s quite hilly but not very steep. And you’ll see a big sign saying “Pusat Pelancongan dan Menara Tinjau, Look Out Point” on your right. Turn in to the carpark. (RM2, otherwise you can drive up to the restaurants area and ask for jockey parking , pay additional RM3)
Earth Hour 2009 – Malaysia
Ade and I joined Earth Hour campaign by switching off our lights from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Are you doing the same too? Let us switch off our lights together!
I wonder how KL is doing???
And the results is – not bad at all!

Kuala Lumpur at 8pm on 28 March 2009

Almost all the lights are off.
Journey of Life…
I haven’t blogged. Mainly because I have too many things that I wanted to share but not sure where to begin with! So, I decided to postpone the most ’interesting’ part of my journey until it’s settled! Now that it’s settled… I dunno how to begin… perhaps things started almost 11 months ago… so I guess the best is just to summarise… (wink wink)
The Countdown:
26 Apr 08: We had a dinner appointment with mum and dad in Klang, just a casual dinner but since we arrived earlier, we decided to go for window shopping. Passed-by a jewellery shop and went in – within 30min – we’re out with an engagement ring, and wedding bands! (phew!) Before he make the payment, I asked him, “are we really buying this?” and his answer is “yah, why not?”
Later, we met with my parents, have dinner and he asked permission from my parents, and dad said ‘good’! Mmmmm… he didn’t ask me tho! ![]()
But I agreed with his ‘crazy’ ideas…. hahahaha
Congrats to James & Belinda

Congratulations to both James and Belinda! Thanks for having us and allowing me to be your official photographer for your special moment!
Happy New Year 2009
I was very lucky to be able to capture the moment! Yeah… fireworks display after the countdown to 2009! Happy New Year!

P/s: Did I mentioned that these photos are captured from my balcony? I love KL night view!
Happy Winter Solstice festival/Dong Zhi (Belated)
Yesterday was Winter Solstice festival or Dong Zhi (in Mandarin). Chinese normally celebrating this day with dinner, eating Tang Yuan and I will be one year older. Yup, one year older because Chinese believe if you had your Tang Yuan, you’ll be one year older…. I guess I’m not this year?? Hahaha…
I missed my family because all of them are away (holidaying), therefore I didn’t have the chance to eat Tang Yuan. My mum not home mah! I thought of making one BUT it was just too much to do with only me and Ade having it. But I actually missed it alot! Still remember last year I missed that too
(sob sob sob) I think next year, I must and will make an effort to do so…and make sure I will make BIG sizes Tang Yuan!
Well, i guess I’m wishing everyone a (belated) Winter Solstice Festival without the Tang Yuan…

(Just to show everyone, what is Tang Yuan, I copied an image from Flickr… Picture copyright to Oranje: http://www.flickr.com/photos/oranje/)
